From June 25 to 28 2009, the 6th technical & application training was jointly held by the Floor Coating Materials Branch of China Construction Materials Association and its Vice-chairman unit － Sowa Engineering in Suzhou Chang Cheng Mansion.
The General Manager Mr. Zhou Zihan from Sowa Engineering delivered a warm opening speech which attracted the attendees’ attention. In the following training, Technical Director Mr. Feng Jinling from Sowa Engineering, Technical Service Manager Mr. Ji Gong from Sika and Technical & Operation Director Mr. Shen Minghua from Uzin Utz did the detailed presentation in terms of the basic knowledge of organic floor coatings, application process, the development of industrial floor coatings, classifications of floor coatings and application case analysis.
In the last day all the attendees attended the application training held in Sowa Engineering headquarter (No. 1, Yangming Road) by Mr. Feng Jinling and other technicians. They were trained how to apply the Acrylic Sirup (MMA) jointly developed by Sowa Engineering and Japan Ryoko Mitsubishi Corporation. This product is applicable in many fields such as roads, railways and its features of quick hardening, anti-skip, anti-abrasion and weathering resistance etc. attracted the attendees’ interests. Everyone is in very good spirit in spite of the hot temperature and a lot of questions were raised up to the technicians. Photos and videos were also taken during the training. In the end, everyone sang high praise for the training and they strongly hoped Sowa Engineering can hold a special course explaining the MMA material in details. Also they hoped more similar trainings could be conducted by the Association in order to let them know more about the techniques and have the mutual communication so as to have the benign competition.
